Sample book review via Email January

Brian:
I first became aware of your firm when someone (?) did a couple-hour seminar
here at the Department of Commerce as part of the "Management Update
Series" - which was an on-going education program for managers that was
run here over the last couple years. (I didn't attend the seminar, but came
across some handout from it I think).
Anyway, since that time I have read your Creating Customer Focused Organizations
cover-to-cover. It's the best source I have come across of an understandable
(and do-able) approach to IT/business process planning. It's a perfect fit for
what we do in my shop. I would like to introduce my colleagues to this
material, but they are not likely to read the book!
I suppose I could fish around in the other agencies within the Department of
Commerce (I'm just in a small part of Commerce, called the International Trade
Administration) and see if I could stir up enough interest to get a dozen
people or so (but I think its a long shot).
Please keep me informed of anything you might be doing in the Washington D.C.
area that we might be able to sneak into.
p.s. I love your writing style... very readable and entertaining. Not like most
dry methodology stuff. Keep it up!
Thanks
