The basic concept of our "Event-Driven" methodology:
The concept is remarkably simple to understand. The main idea is to focus on the response to each of your customer’s needs as it flows horizontally through your business. The focus begins outside the business, for example when a customer wants to place an order. This order is followed as it flows through the business and is converted into a delivery of a product or service to the customer. The focus never leaves the order and its flow through the business, making sure the customer receives the fulfillment of their need in the most efficient, cost effective way. All old systems design clutter and unrelated processing and data are excluded from this analysis view.
We teach the use of a set of simple business models to analyze and depict aspects of your business - such as an Event Driven Process Flow model for the example above. This process model shows the optimum response to each of your customer’s needs. It allows you to visualize, create, and manipulate your true business. It’s the first resource to use when errors occur in the implemented business. It’s also the source for changes imposed on the business rules and as the basis for a new design. This leads to business agility and flexibility with maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
